Bead Care
Caring for your Beads
- Keep Beads out of direct sunlight.
- Do not shower with Beads. Since beads are made up of sensitive minerals, water may be too harsh.
- Do not wear beads in the ocean. Saltwater may dry out the stringing material and/or dull your beads.
- Do not expose beads in extreme heat. Keep in a Jewelry case or Jewelry bag.
- Clean and Charge Stones every evening ( See Cleansing Care)
- The string used is a stretchy strand of Nylon. Be mindful of how much water it may come in contact with. It may snap if it's introduced to too much water. This could cause the string to dry out and break.
Cleansing Care
It's believed that Sunlight, Vibrating Sounds, and Incense smoke cleanse your stone. Selenite is self-cleansing and can charge and cleanse other stones as well. Place all stone jewelry on a selenite plate or just a long, flat selenite slab. If you don't have access to selenite, light an incense stick and hold the stones in the smoke using a circular motion for about 1-2 minutes. Imagine a white light beaming through the stones as you smudge your stones. After smudging, keep the stones near a window and allow the moonlight to charge them.
Meditation
Stones may be used to meditate. A great stone for meditation is Quartz, Rose Quartz, and Black Tourmaline. Stones may vary depending on your meditation goals. ( Reducing Stress, Clearing Mind, Anxiety, etc. )
